• You meet with the team to assess and define the system requirements
• You analyze network and infrastructure data to determine inefficiencies and problems
• You are involved in the design of customer solutions
• You oversee the development, installation, configuration, and administration of systems
• You manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation
• You work with monitoring systems and networks
• You troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions
• You prepare network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals 
• You are part of 24x7 on-call duty

... by bringing in your strengths

• You have strong Linux and Unix experience
• You have experience with virtualization and container technologies (VMWare, XEN, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes)
• You have a solid understanding of the different protocols and technologies that power the internet
  
• You use automation to be first in line when tackling problems (Terraform, Ansible)
• You have high levels of autonomy and bias for action
• You have good communication skills
• You have strong analytical thinking abilities and are a good problem solver 
• You have advanced German skills (at least B2)
• You are fluent in English (at least C1)

... and ideally further experience with

• Microsoft
• Networking and block storage solutions
  
• One cloud provider or more (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Scripting and coding (Bash, Python and/or Go)
• You have experience with HCI systems like Dell’s Azure HCI stack
