Where you will belong:
As a Cloud Engineer you will be a part of our Professional Services team where the main task is to plan, design and migrate Orange Business' customers to the Cloud. This also includes working proactively with the customer and planning for future expansions. You will be exposed to different type of customer facing projects in both big and small companies with varying business requirements. Meaning sometimes you will start a project and see it through until its end or jump into an existing engagement when extra resources are needed. To make sure we have the right conditions from the start you will also be active in pre-sales and sales customer meetings/workshops and presentations to support on technical aspects.
It`s positive if you consider your teamwork skills as excellent, as well as you have excellent written and verbal skills in English. If you're also commercial and customer focused, have the ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority and enjoy giving lectures in different forums, this could be your future role:
• Help customers assess their cloud strategy and maturity level.
• Help customers transition to Public Cloud by plan, deliver, and managing cloud services.
• Provide technical expertise and implementation guidance for cloud solutions.
• Play a leading technical role when engaging with new/existing customers to ensure customer success with cloud adoption.
Main areas of responsibilities:
• Apply technical design and implementation of customer cloud solutions.
• Be a technical advisor for customers seeking implementation guidance at various stages of their cloud journey.
• Participate in customer teams as the Public Cloud generalist and act as the technical representative on public cloud in customer meetings.
• Assist and enable the design, implementation, and support/troubleshooting of customers' public cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• Ensure good cooperation within teams and personnel working with Public Cloud to minimize effort of handovers and go live.
• Execute knowledge transfer to other cloud teams and hand over tasks related to Public Cloud customer projects and company trainings.
• Develop own competency by staying on top of public cloud developments and maintaining/pursuing relevant certifications.
We are looking for people with:
• A Masters degree within a relevant field is preferred, or else relevant experience combined with industry training / certifications.
• Experience in managing and delivering cloud computing solutions (compute, storage, networking, platform and/or data).
• Experience working with cloud security best practices (identity security, network security, data security). Familiar with concepts such as least privilege, zero trust security, and compliance.
• Experience building relationships and delivering technical presentations to customers, supporting sales activities, and acting as a customer technical advisor.
• Good general knowledge about IT services, trends and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge and interest in agile methodology, business canvas, and digital transformation.
• Experience designing and working with CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps and DevSecOps, and cloud-based delivery models.
• Terraform/Bicep//ARM/Pulumi, Ansible, Powershell, Python, Java Script, Node.
• Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English.
• Interested in technology and good technical understanding.
It would also be nice if you have:
• Experience from working with cloud as a consultant or in customer facing roles B2B.
• Certifications in relevant areas (Az-104, Az-200, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps admin).
• Other local languages, like French, German, Dutch, Swedish, or Norwegian are beneficial.
